Purpose of the Experienced Rider Course - Motorcycle Training

Experienced Rider Motorcycle Training and Education Course

The ERC motorcycle training course is designed to sharpen the skills of riders who have at least several thousand miles of current motorcycle riding experience.

All courses are taught by friendly and knowledgeable rider coaches who are certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, as well as the Florida Rider Training Program.

Students learn mental and physical preparedness, proper riding gear, strategies for interacting with traffic, motorcycle inspection, techniques for swerving, quick stops, cornering finesse, obstacle surmounting and slow speed maneuvering.

Since students use their own motorcycle for this class, they learn how their bike handles in a variety of situations.

This course is currently only offered for groups of six (6) or more people. Riding clubs and organizations are encouraged to inquire about this course.

All students must possess a driver license with motorcycle endorsement.

Students must ride their own street legal motorcycle and provide proof of registration and insurance.

Goal of Experienced Rider Course

Students who satisfactorily complete this motorcycle training course may qualify for motorcycle insurance discounts of up to 20%.

Acceptance in this course does NOT guarantee successful completion. Students not possessing adequate skills for this course may be referred by rider coaches to a Basic Rider Course.
